Can the rolls be cut?

Cutting a roll of photography background paper - photo: Carl DavisYes. If you want a roll width between the standard sizes the paper rolls can be cut (while on the roll) with a fine toothed saw.

Carl Davis says "if your roll doesn't fit onto your pole, in your car or in your studio space, why not just cut it to size like I do. The rolls come tightly wound so a little sellotape to stop the ends fraying and using a standard saw cut slowly and without too much effort it will soon be the perfect size"

NEW: Cut to Size service

For a small additional charge we are now able to machine cut paper rolls to size, just select the "Cut to Size" option before adding the roll to your cart. Please note: cut to size rolls are not returnable and due to packing difficulties we do not normally ship the offcut.

Shades of Red, Pink, Blue, Green, Yellow, Black and White are the most used in my portraits as I can generally match a clients dress or accessories with the backdrop. And each of these reacts differently in B&W photography.
